Pear Bread Recipe
Ingredients

1/2 Cup butter
1 Tsp. baking powder
1 Cup sugar
1/8 Tsp. nutmeg
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup buttermilk
2 Cup flour
1 Cup pears; peeled, cored, coarsley chopped
1/2 Tsp. salt
1 Tsp. vanilla
1/2 Tsp. baking soda

Cooking Instructions

Cream butter; gradually beat in sugar, and eggs. Combine dry ingredients; add to butter mix alternately with buttermilk. Stir in pears and vanilla.

Pour into lightly greased and floured loaf pans and bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
