2 Lrge. Onions; peeled and coarsely chopped
Olive oil
2 Lbs. Round steak
flour
3 Tbsp. tomato paste
10 3/4 Oz. consomme
2 Tbsp.soy sauce
3 Tbsp. cherry
4 oz. mushrooms; sliced and saute
1 Cup sour cream
1 tbsp. parsley
Cooking Instructions
In a large skillet saute onions, and mushrooms in oil until soft; remove from pan and set aside. Cut meat in pieces 1/2 X 2 inches; roll in flour until covered.
Saute meat until browned.Return onions and mushrooms to skillet. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add remaining ingredients except for sour cream.
Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Stir in sour cream. heat, but do NOT boil or cream may curdle.
Place in serving dish and sprinkle with parsley. Serve over rice.
